Common questions

What does "break-even gem rate" mean? +

It's the minimum percentage of your submissions that need to receive a PSA 10 for you to cover your costs. A 5% break-even means even if only 1 in 20 cards gems, you still profit. A 40% break-even is much harder to hit. You assess your specific card — SlabScout gives you the target number.

Why no free tier? +

We share free weekly picks on Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord so you can evaluate the quality of our analysis before subscribing. The paid product is the full daily screener — not a teaser. Follow us on social to see what we surface before joining.

Where does the price data come from? +

Raw and graded prices are aggregated from multiple market sources and updated daily. Prices reflect actual completed sales, not active listings — so the numbers reflect what cards are genuinely selling for, not what sellers are asking.

Why aren't shipping costs included? +

Shipping varies significantly by location, batch size, carrier, and insurance level. We show you the grading fee only — add your own shipping estimate on top. The break-even gem rate and max profit columns are what matter for comparison across cards.

What's the GameStop tier? +

GameStop offers PSA submissions at ~$22/card with no membership required and no minimum card count. The tradeoff is a longer turnaround (4–5 months total) and limited insurance coverage — generally suitable for cards under $200 raw.

Can I cancel any time? +
